Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Karate Framework and Cucumber.
• Perform manual and automated API testing using Postman, Karate, and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Develop reusable components and libraries in Core Java to support automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience in API testing (manual and automation).
• Strong hands-on experience with Karate Framework and Cucumber.
• Proficiency in Core Java for automation scripting and framework development.
• Experience with Postman for manual API testing and scripting.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP methods.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Product company or Product client experience will be a great fit.
