Cognizant is a global technology company helping clients improve their businesses with innovative solutions. We’re currently looking for a talented developer to join our team and work on applications that support our service desk operations.
In this role, you’ll be building and improving software to make things run smoothly for our service desk teams. You’ll work with other developers and people from different teams to understand what’s needed and then turn those ideas into working software. You’ll be using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to get applications up and running and keep them performing well.
You’ll design how things look and feel using React JS, and you’ll write code in Java and JavaScript to bring the applications to life. Working with databases like MySQL will be part of the job, so you’ll need to be comfortable writing SQL queries. You’ll also use Spring Boot to connect the front-end and back-end parts of the application. We also value people who are keen to learn, so knowledge of Python would be a plus.
We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of Java, JavaScript, React JS, SQL, and AWS. Experience with Spring Boot and MySQL is also important. This position is based in India and is a hybrid role, meaning you’ll have the flexibility to work both remotely and from the office as needed.
