Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and MERN stack backend technologies to build and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.
The ideal candidate should have strong backend logic, database management, API development, and system integration skills. We are specifically looking for backend-focused developers, not frontend/UI developers.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and Express.js
• Design and manage REST APIs and server-side architecture
• Work with MongoDB databases and optimize queries
• Integrate third-party APIs and backend services
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of applications
• Debug, test, and maintain backend systems
• Collaborate with frontend developers and business teams
• Maintain proper documentation and version control
Required Skills
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB / Mongoose
• Good understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with REST APIs and backend integrations
• Knowledge of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Understanding of server-side architecture and database optimization
Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Experience with AWS, Firebase, or cloud services
• Knowledge of Docker or deployment workflows
• Experience with Socket.io or real-time systems
• Basic understanding of React.js frontend integration
• Experience with scalable production-level applications
Experience
• 2–5 years of backend development experience
• Proven experience building and maintaining backend systems and APIs
