Senior Software Engineer/Applied AI Scientist – Hyderabad Join a leading insurer’s tech hub to build AI‑driven products that automate regulatory filing, power intelligent assistants, and enhance underwriting insights. You’ll work cross‑functionally with legal, underwriting and product teams, turning cutting‑edge generative models into reliable, compliant solutions that directly impact business outcomes. What You’ll Do Design and ship ML and generative‑AI pipelines for classification, forecasting, and recommendation tasks. Build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that ingest PDFs, images, audio, and structured data. Automate regulatory filing support with GenAI, integrating APIs to external compliance bodies. Create and maintain domain‑specific knowledge bases for underwriting, pricing, and risk analysis. Own the full AI lifecycle: data prep, modeling, CI/CD, monitoring, and safe rollback. Develop prompts, few‑shot patterns, and structured JSON outputs for reliable agent behavior. What You Need 3+ years of Python data‑science work (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn) and strong SQL skills. Hands‑on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and deep‑learning model deployment. Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end ML projects, including evaluation, A/B testing, and drift monitoring. Expertise handling unstructured documents, OCR basics, metadata management, and PII redaction. Proficiency with Git, Unix environments, containerisation, and basic cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure). Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Vertex AI, SageMaker, or Azure AI Services. Solid knowledge of NLP/GenAI techniques: embeddings, retrieval, prompt engineering, and RAG evaluation.
