JAVA DEVELOPER (MICROSERVICES & AWS) – VOIS — Java Developer – India Develop secure, high‑performance microservices for VOIS’s digital platforms that serve millions of customers worldwide. You’ll work in an agile squad using Java 17+, Spring Boot and AWS, delivering REST APIs and mentoring junior engineers while continuously improving your cloud‑native skill set. What You’ll Do Build and maintain scalable microservices in Java 17+ with Spring Boot. Design, develop and document RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture. Apply TDD/BDD, unit, integration and performance testing to ensure code quality. Support production environments, troubleshoot incidents and participate in on‑call rotations. Collaborate with cross‑functional product, UX and operations teams to ship customer‑centric features. Share best practices and coach junior developers on clean code and design patterns. Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives through learning sessions and peer reviews. What You Need 3+ years of Java development experience (Java 17 or higher). Strong hands‑on expertise with Spring Framework / Spring Boot. Proven ability to build REST APIs in a microservices landscape. Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and Docker containers. Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber) and TDD/BDD practices. Good communication skills for stakeholder interaction and documentation. Good to Have Exposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk. Knowledge of additional cloud platforms or serverless architectures.
