Senior Software Developer Engineer – Paid Media / SEM – India (Remote) Build the next generation of internal tools that power GoDaddy’s global paid‑media operations. You’ll combine engineering rigor with marketing insight to automate campaigns, integrate ad platforms, and embed AI‑driven analytics—delivering tangible impact for millions of customers. What You’ll Do Build and maintain high‑quality tools for workflow, campaign execution, and reporting across SEM, paid social, and display. Design and deploy data pipelines that sync Google Ads, Meta APIs, and internal dashboards. Apply AI/LLM techniques to automate insights and accelerate development cycles. Translate vague marketing requirements into reliable, production‑grade software solutions. Enhance existing automation libraries, dashboards, and scripts for performance and stability. Enforce engineering best practices: testing, code review, documentation, GitHub version control, and CI/CD. Implement “Shift‑Left” security measures to protect sensitive customer data. What You Need 10+ years software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on AWS. Hands‑on with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, Fargate, S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, Athena, Glue, etc. Proficient in C# / Java / Python plus SQL and Spark. Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, design, testing, debugging, and version control. Proven ability to build APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise‑scale system integrations. Experience collaborating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to deliver production solutions. Familiarity with DevOps tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
