The team needs a seasoned Azure Data Engineer to build and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines on Azure. You’ll work on modern data platforms, enabling fast analytics for critical business initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse.
Build scalable data processing jobs on Azure Databricks with Spark.
Optimize data storage in Azure Blob Storage and Data Lake Gen2.
Write efficient SQL queries for SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Collaborate with developers to integrate CI/CD and version control.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot data workflows.
Document solutions and share knowledge across teams.
What You Need
2+ years experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
Hands‑on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Blob Storage, and Data Lake Gen2.
Proficient in SQL DML on SQL Server and PostgreSQL (2+ years).
Strong foundation in software engineering – CI/CD, Git, testing.
Experience developing Spark applications (PySpark preferred).
Familiarity with big‑data file formats: Parquet, Delta, Avro.
Ability to query APIs as data sources.
Good to Have
Python (or Scala/Java/C#) for data pipelines.
Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories.
Knowledge of Ansible for Azure DevOps automation.
Ability to manage Azure subscriptions and resource groups.
