Software Engineer-Guidewire — Software Engineer – Guidewire – Pan India
Join a leading IT services firm to design and support insurance‑focused applications built on Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter. You’ll work on large‑scale projects that modernise claim and policy processes for top insurers across the country.
What You’ll Do
Design, configure and optimise ClaimCenter/PolicyCenter data models and entity structures.
Implement business rules, validation scripts and permission roles using PCF and GOSU.
Build and maintain SOAP/REST web‑service integrations for external data exchange.
Create and execute GUnit tests for robust GOSU code coverage.
Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver scalable, production‑ready releases.
Support startable plugins and event‑messaging pipelines for claim lifecycle updates.
What You Need
5+ years of IT programming experience, primarily in insurance/financial services.
4+ years hands‑on with Guidewire ClaimCenter and/or PolicyCenter.
Strong command of GOSU, PCF methods, type lists, widgets and business rule engine.
Experience configuring claim setups, LOBs, validation rules, and role‑based permissions.
Proficiency in Java 8 (or higher) and REST/SOAP API development.
Familiarity with event messaging, payload generation, and pre/post‑update rule handling.
Good to Have
Knowledge of containerisation platforms (Docker/Kubernetes) and DevOps toolchains.
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
