Lead Data Engineer

Lead Data Engineer – Bhopal We need a senior technologist to design and run scalable cloud‑native data platforms and modern ETL/ELT pipelines. You’ll shape Lakehouse and data‑warehouse architectures while empowering business users with fast analytics. This role offers a chance to lead a high‑impact data team in a fast‑growing tech firm. What You’ll Do Lead design and delivery of end‑to‑end data pipelines and models. Architect and optimise Lakehouse/warehouse solutions on Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Snowflake. Enable self‑service analytics through Power BI dashboards and other visualisation tools. Partner with data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data feeds. Define and enforce data‑governance, quality and security standards. Mentor junior engineers and establish coding/design best practices. What You Need 8+ years in data engineering; 2–3 years in a lead or architect role. Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, DW) or Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, PySpark) or Snowflake (Snowpipe, performance tuning). Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or Scala. Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP cloud data services. Solid understanding of data modelling, CI/CD pipelines, and security frameworks. Bachelor’s (B.Tech) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent. Good to Have Experience building Power BI data models and DAX calculations. Familiarity with Azure Databricks or similar processing frameworks. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or other emerging cloud platforms.
