What You’ll Do
Design and implement end‑to‑end ETL/ELT pipelines in Python.
Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.
Develop Snowflake objects (tables, streams, tasks, Snowpipe) to support real‑time loads.
Create reusable functions and stored procedures to enforce data quality.
Translate functional specs/user stories into technical designs.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve data issues quickly.
What You Need
4–8 years in data engineering, ETL or BI development.
Strong Python coding skills for data processing.
Hands‑on experience with Snowflake (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks).
Advanced SQL expertise, including joins, procedures, and optimisation.
Proven ability to build and maintain data‑warehouse schemas (star/snowflake).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Good to Have
Experience with ETL tools such as DBT, Azure Data Factory, SnapLogic or Informatica.
Cloud platform exposure (AWS or Azure).
Working knowledge of semi‑structured formats (JSON, XML).
Power BI skills for DAX, dashboard creation and data modelling.
