Staff Software Engineer/Java Full Stack — Staff Software Engineer – India | Full‑time Design and build cloud‑native enterprise applications that modernize insurance customer communications. This role blends deep Java full‑stack expertise with AI‑driven automation, giving you a chance to lead large‑scale modernization on AWS while mentoring the next generation of engineers. What You’ll Do Lead design, development, and deployment of full‑stack solutions on AWS. Architect RESTful APIs, microservices, and event‑driven components to replace legacy systems. Translate business requirements into scalable, customer‑focused technical designs. Enforce code quality via test‑driven development, peer reviews, and CI pipelines. Mentor junior developers and champion a culture of technical excellence. Drive adoption of GenAI tools, automation, and DevOps best practices. Ensure application stability, security, and performance in a cloud‑first environment. What You Need 7+ years of full‑stack development experience, including cloud migration. Strong Java (Spring Boot) skills plus JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular or React. Hands‑on expertise with AWS services: Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, EventBridge. Experience building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs and integrating vendor systems. Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle). Familiarity with DevOps tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, SonarQube. Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree preferred). Good to Have Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK). Exposure to GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot or prompt‑based development.
