This role blends solid Java/Spring expertise with hands‑on LLM integration, offering a chance to shape AI‑driven products for a global insurer. What You’ll Do Design and implement Java Spring Boot micro‑services and REST APIs. Build resilient, high‑throughput event pipelines using Kafka. Create efficient NoSQL data models and queries in MongoDB (or similar). Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) via REST or SDKs. Develop AI‑powered micro‑services such as RAG pipelines, semantic search, and document intelligence. collaborate with architects, BAs, and QA to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. What You Need 5+ years of Java development (Java 8/11/17) with Spring Framework/Boot. Strong experience building Kafka‑based, event‑driven architectures. Hands‑on work with MongoDB or other NoSQL stores (Cassandra, DynamoDB). Production‑grade consumption of LLM APIs (GPT‑4o, Claude, Gemini). Familiarity with Java AI toolkits like Spring AI or LangChain4j. Proven prompt‑engineering skills, including versioning and testing. Ability to work with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector). Good to Have Insurance domain exposure (policy, claims, underwriting).
