We’re looking for a senior Python full‑stack engineer to power AI data pipelines and large‑scale annotation systems. This contract role is fully remote and offers competitive hourly pay.
What You’ll Do
- Design and optimize high‑performance Python systems for AI data pipelines.
- Build full‑stack tools and backend services for large‑scale annotation and quality control.
- Enhance reliability, performance, and safety of existing Python codebases.
- Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams on model training workflows.
- Identify bottlenecks and edge cases, delivering scalable fixes.
- Participate in synchronous code reviews to iterate on system design.
What You Need
- 3‑5+ years of professional production Python development.
- Full‑stack development experience with a strong systems‑programming background.
- Experience building asynchronous task queues for long‑running background jobs.
- Proficiency optimizing high read/write database queries and serving data via WebSockets.
- Native or fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
- Ability to commit 2040 hours per week.

- Familiarity with AI/ML model training and benchmarking pipelines.
