What You’ll Do
- Design and develop high‑performance COBOL applications for payment authorization and clearing.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate build/deployment processes.
- Lead defect‑tracking and quality‑metrics initiatives across the team.
- Coordinate schedules and deliverables with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Produce project metrics reports for senior management review.
- Mentor junior developers and act as technical subject‑matter expert.
- Ensure solutions comply with Mastercard security and compliance standards.
What You Need
- 5+ years of mainframe development with COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL.
- Experience building batch and online processing systems.
- Proficiency with Microfocus COBOL and TWS Scheduler.
- Hands‑on involvement in full‑lifecycle Agile projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to guide teams.
- Knowledge of payment and card industry concepts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and automation.
