Technical Platform Product Owner – Developer Tooling

You’ll shape the developer‑tooling platform that powers artifact management, vulnerability intelligence, and static code analysis, turning tools like JFrog Artifactory, Xray and SonarQube into frictionless, self‑service experiences for engineers. The role delivers automated governance that lets teams ship reliable software faster. What You'll Do Define and evolve the roadmap for artifact handling, threat intelligence, and code‑scanning platforms. Own the platform backlog, writing clear epics, features, acceptance criteria. Encode secure practices into self‑service golden paths and CI/CD policies. Drive adoption by removing friction in onboarding, repository provisioning, and remediation. Collaborate with engineering, security, compliance, and architecture to align product decisions. Track metrics like repository coverage, onboarding lead time, and quality‑gate compliance. What You Need Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for technical platforms or DevSecOps tools. Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, artifact repositories, vulnerability management, and code‑quality tooling. Hands‑on experience with JFrog Artifactory, JFrog Xray, SonarQube, or equivalent platforms. Skilled at backlog ownership, roadmap planning, and Agile delivery in large enterprises. Ability to influence matrixed teams and translate technical, operational, and compliance needs. Strong interpersonal communication to align stakeholders across engineering, security, and compliance. Data‑driven mindset to define and act on product and adoption metrics. Good to Have Familiarity with DevSecOps practices like SAST, SCA, SBOM, and OWASP guidelines. Experience scaling self‑service platform patterns, API‑led integration, and automation for large engineering communities.
