The position will have you designing and delivering software for railway interlocking systems, ensuring safety and reliability across Indian and international projects. You’ll work within a dynamic engineering team, collaborating closely with delivery managers, hardware engineers, and customers to turn specifications into operational solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Execute software engineering for interlocking systems using specialized tools.
- Prepare and review specification documents, track layouts, and interface descriptions.
- Collaborate with delivery manager to advance the IXL subsystem engineering.
- Support system, hardware, and validation teams on interlocking projects.
- Analyse defects, manage change control, and ensure quality compliance.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to clarify requirements.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s in electrical/electronic engineering, preferably railway‑focused.
- 5–8 years experience in railway transportation systems.
- Minimum 3 years delivering interlocking application logic on Indian rail projects.
- Strong knowledge of interlocking logic, principles, and related hardware/software.
- Familiarity with CENELEC standards (EN 50126/28/29) and safety processes.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); German or Spanish is a plus.
Good to Have
- Experience on international or multi‑technology (MT) railway projects.
- Knowledge of support functions (DM/RM/CM) and quality management.
- Willingness to relocate within India and travel for onsite work.
