Principal Data Engineer

Join a fast‑growing Finance Transformation team building data platforms that power reporting, AI agents, and dashboards for financial decision‑making. You’ll engineer scalable Snowflake pipelines and partner with BI developers, analytics, and the GET organization to deliver reliable, governed data solutions. What You'll Do Design and maintain scalable Snowflake pipelines and data models for Finance analytics. Translate finance stakeholder requirements into sustainable, reusable data products. Drive data engineering best practices: modeling standards, testing, monitoring, documentation. Balance business needs with technical feasibility, communicating effort and priorities. Improve data quality, performance, and maintainability of Finance data assets. Collaborate with engineering teams to align Finance solutions with Autodesk’s enterprise architecture. What You Need Expert-level Snowflake and cloud data‑warehousing proficiency. 8+ years in data/analytics engineering with ETL/ELT pipelines. Strong SQL skills and modern orchestration/automation tools. Deep knowledge of dimensional modeling and data‑warehouse concepts. Proven track record delivering data quality controls and monitoring frameworks. Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. Good to Have Experience supporting Finance or Revenue Operations in SaaS businesses. Technical lead background and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Hands‑on work with generative AI, LLM‑powered applications, and AI‑assisted development tools.
