We need an experienced Release Engineer to oversee the release lifecycle across our B2B and OMS product lines. You will serve as the central point of contact for teams, ensuring predictable software shipping processes.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end release calendar for B2B and OMS products.
- Facilitate production readiness meetings and track milestone progress.
- Manage dependencies and resolve scheduling conflicts across teams.
- Define release trains, hotfix paths, and branching strategies.
- Enforce quality gates for hotfixes and emergency releases.
- Provide status updates to leadership regarding deployment risks.
- Streamline release processes and identify engineering workflow bottlenecks.
What You Need
- 8+ years in release engineering, management, or DevOps.
- Experience with JVM and Node.js ecosystems.
- Proficiency in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Buildkite pipelines.
- Strong grasp of Git internals and monorepo workflows.
- Experience scripting in Bash, Python, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience applying AI/LLM tooling to engineering workflows.
Good to Have
- Background in incident response and high-pressure deployments.
- Experience managing release cycles for multiple product lines.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence project management.
