Join a dynamic team developing embedded firmware for automotive ECUs, focusing on robust serial communication and classic AUTOSAR stacks. You’ll collaborate closely with controller test engineers to ensure designs meet stringent diagnostic and safety standards.
What You’ll Do
- Review ECU designs for CAN, LIN, and Ethernet protocol compliance.
- Approve test plans and verify serial communication requirements across ECUs.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis on communication failures and recommend improvements.
- Develop and integrate new firmware features for classic AUTOSAR COM stacks.
- Support controller test engineering by clarifying requirements and assisting test execution.
- Create and run automated diagnostic test suites to validate ECU behavior.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Controls, Mechanical, or Computer Science Engineering.
- 2–4 years of hands‑on experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and classic AUTOSAR COM stack.
- Proficiency with Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, and VSpy debugging tools.
- Experience using CAN monitoring tools for data capture and analysis.
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills in embedded environments.
- Ability to develop automated test scripts, preferably in Python.
Good to Have
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
- Familiarity with bug‑tracking systems and FMEA methodology.
- Experience automating test processes using Python or similar scripting languages.
