What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with artists and production teams to capture automation requirements.
- Co‑design the Automation framework with senior architects.
- Lead the implementation, allocating tasks to junior developers.
- Provide sprint‑based updates on progress and deliverables.
- Resolve bug reports and support escalations efficiently.
- Write comprehensive documentation and troubleshooting playbooks.
- Communicate technical plans to developers, artists, and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate with remote sites across time zones.
What You Need
- 5+ years professional software development experience.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with the QT framework.
- Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in data modelling and schema design.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and coding standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Good to Have
- Scrum and Agile development experience.
- Renderfarm queue knowledge (Tractor, OpenCue).
- Event‑driven framework expertise.
- RabbitMQ and Linux environment experience.
