What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain production‑grade Python applications on Embedded Linux.
- Build responsive PyQt/PySide GUIs for industrial touchscreens.
- Interface hardware via GPIO, UART/RS232/RS485, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet.
- Integrate RFID readers and other industrial peripherals.
- Implement MQTT communication for telemetry, commands, and remote configuration.
- Connect applications to REST APIs and backend services.
What You Need
- 3‑5 years of embedded software development experience.
- Strong Python 3 skills, including threading, asyncio or multiprocessing.
- Proficiency with PyQt, PySide, or Qt for GUI development.
- Hands‑on Embedded Linux experience, including systemd and networking.
- Practical knowledge of GPIO and serial interfaces (UART, RS232/RS485, SPI, I2C).
- Experience with MQTT and RESTful API integration.
Good to Have
- Work with ARM64 SBCs such as Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone.
- Familiarity with Yocto or Buildroot build systems.
