What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain reusable iOS SDKs for wearable devices.
- Implement robust BLE layers for pairing, authentication, OTA updates and real‑time streaming.
- Define SDK APIs for health, fitness, notifications and sensor data access.
- Establish architecture, versioning and backward‑compatibility strategies.
- Collaborate with firmware teams on GATT profiles and communication protocols.
- Optimize performance, battery use, memory footprint and connection reliability.
- Create documentation, sample apps, integration guides and debugging tools.
What You Need
- 4+ years of iOS development, strong Swift and Objective‑C skills.
- Proven experience building and publishing reusable iOS SDKs/frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy, CoreBluetooth and Apple connectivity APIs.
- Solid grasp of iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Experience with Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods or Carthage.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets and cloud‑connected applications.
Good to Have
- Work on smartwatches, smart rings or fitness trackers.
- Implement OTA firmware update workflows.
- Integrate with Apple HealthKit and health data synchronization.
The Opportunity
This role lets you lead the SDK effort for a cutting‑edge wearable ecosystem, collaborating across firmware, cloud, algorithm and app teams to deliver developer‑friendly solutions.
