What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Python.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with FastAPI or Flask.
- Write comprehensive unit tests using Pytest.
- Integrate PostgreSQL databases and optimise query performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define solution architecture.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement optimisations.
What You Need
- 6‑12 years of professional Python development experience.
- Proficiency with FastAPI or Flask for API development.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
- Hands‑on experience writing unit tests (Pytest).
- Fluent English communication (spoken and written).
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
- Ability to design CI/CD workflows and automation scripts.
Good to Have
- Experience deploying services on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions.
- Agile development methodology exposure.
