What You’ll Do
- Lead data science projects to convert raw data into business insights.
- Guide teams in advanced analytics, statistical methods, and machine‑learning model development.
- Design and implement robust REST APIs and containerised services for client solutions.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery to meet client expectations.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering performance, innovation, and technology adoption.
- Resolve complex technical issues and conduct code reviews to ensure quality.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, addressing conflicts and aligning project goals.
What You Need
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong Python proficiency for production‑grade applications.
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes and container deployment.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design, queries, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience mentoring engineers and setting technical direction.
Good to Have
- Experience with event‑streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, or Google AI SDK.
- Background in AI/ML model development and deployment.
