What You’ll Do
- Develop and optimise scalable PHP/CodeIgniter (CI3 & CI4) applications.
- Design, implement, and maintain high‑performance MySQL databases.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for front‑end and third‑party services.
- Write clean, secure, reusable code adhering to industry best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with front‑end, design, and product teams for delivery.
- Use AI tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.
What You Need
- 1–2 years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in PHP.
- Hands‑on experience with CodeIgniter 3 and 4.
- Deep knowledge of MySQL design, optimisation, and queries.
- Experience creating and consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Proven ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) for development tasks.
Good to Have
- Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery knowledge.
