We’re seeking a seasoned software engineer to drive backend development for WordPress‑driven projects, delivering robust, innovative solutions in a fast‑moving environment. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, translating business needs into maintainable code.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build WordPress plugins and custom themes from scratch.
- Develop and maintain PHP/CodeIgniter modules for web applications.
- Integrate APIs using JSON, XML, and RESTful services.
- Optimize MySQL databases, including stored procedures and triggers.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum sprints to meet project deadlines.
What You Need
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development.
- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or related field, 60%+ aggregate.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, PHP, and WordPress CMS.
- Strong grasp of OOA/OOD and web application architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with MySQL/MariaDB and SQL scripting.
- Excellent communication, organization, and independent work skills.
- Ability to deliver reliable, maintainable code on schedule.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Linux, Apache configuration, and version control (Git/SVN).
