What You'll Do Architect and evolve cross‑domain, cloud‑native services for payroll, compliance, and enterprise apps. Lead design, development, and testing of high‑throughput backend APIs and data‑processing pipelines. Drive AI‑assisted tooling, proofs‑of‑concept, and measurable productivity improvements. Own reliability, observability, and incident response for critical production services. Mentor engineers, run architecture reviews, and raise the overall engineering quality bar. Shape technical strategy, roadmaps, and security‑by‑design practices across multiple teams. Collaborate with product, SRE, compliance, and customer support to deliver customer‑centric solutions. What You Need 12+ years of software engineering experience with deep .NET expertise. Proven track record designing scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems. Strong SQL, data‑modeling, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Hands‑on knowledge of Redis/Hazelcast, observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, OpenTelemetry). Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi‑team initiatives and resolve production incidents. Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, secure coding, and handling sensitive payroll/PII data. AI‑first engineering mindset with practical use of generative‑AI development tools. Good to Have Background in payroll, tax, HR, or fintech domains.
