We are looking for a senior Java backend engineer to build and support scalable enterprise solutions on Google Cloud. You’ll own end‑to‑end development, from design through deployment, while collaborating directly with customers and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full software lifecycle: analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, support.
- Develop and maintain Java backend services using microservices patterns.
- Build, deploy, and manage cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Design REST APIs and integrate them with relational databases.
- Optimize SQL queries and database schemas for performance.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
- Monitor application health and implement logging & alerting mechanisms.
What You Need
- 6–8 years of hands‑on Java backend development experience.
- Proven expertise building microservices‑based distributed systems.
- Strong practical experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
- Deep knowledge of relational databases and advanced SQL writing.
- Demonstrated ability to create and consume RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and stakeholder communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience developing cloud‑native applications with performance optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Direct exposure to customer‑facing technical requirement gathering.
The Opportunity
This is a contractual, remote‑first role for candidates based in India, offering ₹90,000–₹110,000 per month.
