Senior Software Engineer- Full Stack Developer (Backend)

We’re looking for a senior engineer to drive backend development for a cutting‑edge payments platform. You’ll work across the stack, shaping secure, high‑performance services that power airlines, travel, and hospitality businesses. What You’ll Do Design and build scalable backend services using PHP and Java. Create and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and microservices. Implement data mapping, transformation, and integration workflows (XML/JSON). Apply MVC, SOLID, design patterns, and clean coding practices. Optimize performance via API tuning, database indexing, and caching. Write unit and integration tests and conduct code reviews. Deploy cloud‑native applications on GCP with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines. What You Need 5+ years of software engineering, focusing on backend development. Strong proficiency in PHP and Java, including Spring/Spring Boot. Experience building REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations. Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, and query optimization. Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of security best practices: authentication, authorization, encryption. Ability to write clean, testable code and perform debugging and root‑cause analysis. Good to Have Working knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3. Experience with payment gateways, PSP integrations, and alternative payment methods. Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and PCI DSS security standards.
