We need a versatile developer who can own the entire mobile ecosystem—building the Flutter app, crafting robust back‑end services, and keeping everything running smoothly. You’ll work closely with editorial, product and digital teams to turn business ideas into reliable, high‑performing mobile experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain Android & iOS apps using Flutter and Dart.
- Design, develop, and manage RESTful APIs and third‑party integrations.
- Architect and optimise SQL/NoSQL databases for sync and performance.
- Implement authentication, access control, notifications and app‑level security.
- Handle Firebase services: auth, cloud messaging, analytics and databases.
- Deploy builds to Google Play and Apple App Store, manage version control.
- Monitor uptime, troubleshoot crashes, and perform regular technical upgrades.
What You Need
- 3–5 years of hands‑on Flutter development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Dart and Flutter UI development.
- Proven backend development skills and operational experience.
- Experience creating and integrating secure RESTful APIs.
- Solid knowledge of Firebase, authentication and cloud services.
- Competence with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Git version control and structured CI/CD workflow experience.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Node.js, Python or PHP for server‑side code.
- Experience with push‑notification services and third‑party analytics.
