You’ll develop and maintain the data pipelines that power live sports statistics across DAZN’s digital and broadcast products. The role bridges sports data ingestion, validation, transformation, and publishing, supporting a 24 × 7 operations environment.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain integrations with external sports data providers.
- Develop real‑time ingestion pipelines for multiple sports.
- Map provider feeds to internal schemas and publish via APIs.
- Support and enhance in‑house stats capture systems for live events.
- Deliver data feeds for broadcast graphics and Virtual Eye integrations.
- Participate in a 24 × 7 on‑call rotation, handling incidents and root‑cause analysis.
What You Need
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server expertise, including T‑SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- .NET/C# development experience with desktop and service applications.
- Building and troubleshooting real‑time data pipelines (XML/JSON, APIs).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and container orchestration (EKS, AWS).
- Hands‑on work with sports data feeds such as Sportradar or Champion Data.
- Ability to investigate and resolve production issues across application and database layers.
Good to Have
- Background in sports broadcast or live‑operations environments.
- Familiarity with OB graphics systems like Virtual Eye.
- Experience supporting 24 × 7 production platforms and on‑call rotations.
- Knowledge of sports product features such as scoreboards, ladders, and player stats.
