We’re looking for a senior developer to design, build, and maintain Java‑based micro‑service solutions that power Citi’s digital platforms. You’ll work autonomously while collaborating across teams to deliver secure, high‑performance services.
What You’ll Do
- Translate architecture and tech stack into clean code across platforms.
- Develop, test, and deploy secure, stable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Conduct system analysis, feasibility studies, and effort estimation for new features.
- Participate in design reviews, guiding performance and scalability decisions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, SonarQube, and automated tests.
- Communicate technical decisions and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
What You Need
- 5‑8 years of application development experience.
- Strong Java, Spring Boot, and microservices expertise.
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience delivering high‑traffic, cloud‑native services.
- Data‑driven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Good to Have
- UI development experience with Angular.
- Proven record driving large‑scale cultural change.
- Leadership of infrastructure or platform programs.
- Collaboration experience with third‑party service providers.
