What You’ll Do
- Lead design and delivery of product features, experiments, and complex backend systems.
- Define and evolve system architecture, ensuring scalability and fault‑tolerance.
- Coach a distributed engineering team, fostering best coding practices and agile processes.
- Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Collaborate with client‑side, infrastructure, and partner teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Identify and implement enhancements to code quality and development workflow.
- Influence organization‑wide technical decisions and standards.
What You Need
- 10+ years building performance‑critical applications with Java, Scala or Kotlin.
- Proven track record leading projects or engineering teams end‑to‑end.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL, Cassandra, Hadoop or similar data platforms.
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to improve team productivity via KPI‑driven practices.
- Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
Good to Have
- Experience with Go, Kafka, or Aerospike.
- Familiarity with micro‑service patterns and event‑driven architectures.
- Background in building high‑throughput, low‑latency services.
