The role demands deep PHP expertise and a hands‑on approach to custom theme and plugin creation, while supporting e‑commerce projects across multiple platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Develop secure WordPress backends using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Customise themes and build plugins tailored to client needs.
- Implement WooCommerce stores and manage product integrations.
- Debug, optimise, and maintain site performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and communicate progress to clients.
- Participate in research and development for emerging platforms.
What You Need
- 3+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
- Hands‑on WordPress backend development skills.
- Experience creating custom themes and plugins.
- Knowledge of third‑party integrations and payment gateways.
- Debugging and troubleshooting expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
