What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and objects.
- Write and optimise complex T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Perform performance tuning and query optimisation to boost application speed.
- Create, schedule, and monitor SQL Server Agent jobs.
- Automate routine tasks and data processing using Python scripts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues across dev, test, and production.
What You Need
- 4‑6 years of hands‑on MS SQL Server experience.
- Expert‑level proficiency in T‑SQL programming.
- Strong background in performance tuning and query optimisation.
- Experience writing dynamic SQL, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Solid Python scripting skills for automation.
- Proven ability to support production environments and resolve incidents.
- Excellent communication and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
Good to Have
- SQL Server DBA experience, including backup/recovery.
- PowerShell scripting for admin tasks.
