What You’ll Do
- Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems.
- Write, review, and optimise code for performance, quality, and security.
- Lead architecture decisions for APIs, microservices, and system components.
- Mentor engineers, set coding standards, and enforce best practices.
- Monitor performance, improve scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Implement authentication, authorisation, and data‑protection measures.
- Manage technical debt and champion continuous improvement.
What You Need
- 5+ years backend development experience building scalable systems.
- Expert in Node.js, ExpressJS, and PostgreSQL.
- Deep understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed architecture.
- Proven track record optimizing performance and ensuring system reliability.
- Strong knowledge of software security, authentication, and data protection.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills in English.
