As an OBD developer you’ll shape how future powertrains meet performance goals, from noise levels to load capacity, and drive integration across vehicle divisions.
In this role you’ll collaborate closely with engineers from BEV, PHEV, and ICE domains, turning high‑level concepts into measurable, SMART requirements and guiding the entire verification lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate development of future powertrains with vehicle divisions to set noise and load capacity targets.
- Define and negotiate interface performance standards across global powertrain and vehicle domains.
- Collaborate with BEV, PHEV, and ICE teams to align integrated powertrain targets.
- Lead verification and validation planning with stakeholders.
- Present proposals to cross‑functional groups and guide decision making.
- Document and maintain performance requirements in Doors Next Generation.
- Share emerging knowledge and best practices with the technical community.
What You Need
- Experience in powertrain systems engineering and interface development.
- Strong knowledge of BEV, PHEV, and ICE powertrain architectures.
- Proficiency with requirement management tools, especially Doors Next Generation.
- Ability to define SMART performance objectives and translate them into technical specs.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in cross‑functional collaboration and decision facilitation.
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
