We need a senior engineer with deep eCommerce expertise to drive development on a leading HCL Commerce platform. The role offers a hybrid work model and expects candidates to join immediately, with a mandatory on‑site interview at the L2/L3 stage.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop new eCommerce features using HCL Commerce components.
- Customize and extend HCL Commerce applications per client requirements.
- Create technical design documents and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production and application issues.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Agile sprints for timely delivery.
What You Need
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands‑on Java application development.
- Strong, proven expertise with HCL Commerce v8 or v9.
- Deep understanding of software design, architecture, and integration patterns.
- Experience optimizing performance and securing eCommerce applications.
- Proficiency in writing technical design docs, conducting code reviews, and testing.
