Application Developer Low Latency Full Stack Lead – India | Full time
Build ultra‑low latency client‑connectivity platforms for Citi’s worldwide trading desks. You’ll shape a high‑performance system that powers real‑time market access, working with a global team of engineers and traders.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop a global client connectivity platform for ultra‑low latency trading.
Implement low‑latency services using Java, React, and high‑frequency trading frameworks.
Lead a distributed development team to deliver prioritized connectivity workstreams.
Coordinate with business, QA, infrastructure, and production support to ensure seamless releases.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, support, and technical business users.
Provide ongoing post‑implementation support and drive continuous enhancements.
What You Need
10+ years of full‑stack development focused on ultra‑low latency systems.
Strong Java expertise, including performance tuning for high‑frequency trading.
Proficiency in ReactJS and TypeScript for front‑end development.
Experience with FIX and binary trading protocols.
Hands‑on knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Enterprise.
Background in financial markets or electronic trading platforms.
Good to Have
Experience with microservices and micro‑frontend architectures.
Exposure to Open‑HFT and Chronicle frameworks.
Prior work in a trading or market‑making environment.
