Associate Data Engineer – Pune
You’ll help build and keep running the data pipelines that power the company’s analytics. Working closely with senior engineers, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in data integration while ensuring clean, reliable data for business users.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from source to data warehouse.
Write clear, efficient SQL and Python scripts following coding standards.
Integrate data across lakes, warehouses, and analytical platforms.
Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot performance issues, and raise alerts.
Perform validation and error‑handling to guarantee data accuracy.
Document workflows, transformations, and pipeline architecture.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with analysts and data scientists.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in data or software engineering (including internships).
Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python scripting.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data‑integration patterns.
Hands‑on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and storage services.
Familiarity with Git version control.
Basic understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modelling.
Good to Have
ITIL certification (optional).
