What You'll Do Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines feeding lakehouse and warehouse. Transform data using SQL, Python, DAX, Power Query for reliable datasets. Build gold‑tier data models in Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. Implement Azure‑based ingestion, processing, storage, and automated scheduling. Ensure data quality with automated testing, validation, and monitoring. Create and manage Power BI dataflows, semantic models, and report refreshes. Mentor team, set coding standards, and drive continuous improvement. What You Need 8+ years in data engineering or BI, senior/lead roles. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Advanced SQL for data manipulation and performance tuning. Proficient in Python for data transformation pipelines. Expertise with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dataflows, semantic models). Hands‑on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric lakehouse architectures. Strong Azure cloud services knowledge for scalable data processing. Good to Have Certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Databricks Data Engineer. Familiarity with Snowflake, Dremio, or similar lakehouse platforms. Exposure to machine learning foundations and AI data requirements. Experience with AWS or Tableau visualization tools.
