What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain Go‑based microservices and APIs.
- Build data‑driven services using cloud‑native databases and distributed stores.
- Implement caching and high‑performance data access patterns for scalability.
- Create resilient workflows and background jobs with orchestration platforms.
- Write automated unit, integration, and API tests; ensure observability and security.
- Use AI‑assisted tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to speed development and reviews.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and continuous engineering improvements.
What You Need
- 5–8 years of software development with strong Go expertise.
- Deep understanding of Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, interfaces, and context.
- Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of error handling, retries, idempotency, timeouts, and async processing.
- Hands‑on work with NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and observability tools.
- Proficiency using AI‑assisted development tools in daily workflow.
Good to Have
- Experience with GCP Firestore, MongoDB Atlas, Elasticsearch or Redis/Valkey.
- Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration platforms.
- Exposure to gRPC, Protocol Buffers, OpenAPI/Swagger, or WebSocket messaging.
