About the Role:
We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to design and implement server-side solutions that seamlessly connect applications, databases, and ERP systems. The role involves building robust APIs, ensuring secure data exchange, and optimizing workflows across business operations.
LOCATION: BHUBANESWAR, CUTTACK
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs for ERP integration.
• Connect existing applications and databases with ERP platforms (e.g., ERPNext, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Ensure data synchronization, consistency, and accuracy across different systems.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
• Collaborate with ERP consultants, frontend developers, and business teams to define integration requirements.
• Develop automated workflows and scheduled data pipelines (ETL).
• Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and provide ongoing support.
• Document integration processes, API specifications, and system flows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong programming skills in Node.js / Python / Java / Go.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and Webhooks.
• Proficiency with databases (SQL & NoSQL – PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of ERP systems (ERPNext, SAP, Odoo, Oracle NetSuite, etc.).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
• Hands-on experience with ERPNext / Odoo framework (customization, scripting, API usage).
• Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
• Basic understanding of frontend frameworks for end-to-end collaboration.
During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying intelligent backend systems powered by Agentic AI technologies. You will learn:
• Fundamentals of Agentic AI systems, autonomous agents, and multi-agent architectures.
• Backend development using Python, FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js.
• Designing and developing APIs for AI-powered applications.
• Building AI agents using modern frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and related tools.
• Integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Llama, Gemini, and open-source AI models.
• Event-driven architectures and asynchronous backend programming.
• Agent memory management, planning, reasoning, and tool-calling mechanisms.
• Cloud deployment and containerization using Docker and cloud platforms.
• Performance optimization, monitoring, debugging, and scalability of AI-enabled backend services.
• Best practices in AI security, data privacy, and responsible AI deployment.
