Backend Developer (Java | Cloud | Microservice — Backend Developer (Java | Cloud | Microservice) – Pune Join a high‑impact enterprise project where you’ll design, build, and scale Java‑based backend services on leading cloud platforms. This role offers the chance to work with modern microservice architectures, DevOps pipelines, and a team that values clean code and rapid delivery. What You’ll Do Design and implement RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, JAX‑RS, or Jersey. Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters. Deploy and manage applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud environments. Build CI/CD pipelines with Maven, Git, Jenkins, and automated testing suites. Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub. Optimize data storage using NoSQL solutions like MongoDB, Cassandra, or BigQuery. Apply BDD practices with Cucumber to drive quality and collaboration. What You Need 6+ years of hands‑on Java development and web‑service design. Proven expertise in microservice architecture and REST API development (Spring Boot/JAX‑RS). Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience for container orchestration. Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Solid understanding of Maven, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflow implementation. Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and configuring Maven builds. Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, BigQuery).
