What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain scalable server‑side applications and services.
- Design, develop, and document RESTful APIs.
- Implement business logic, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Create and optimize database schemas, queries for SQL and NoSQL stores.
- Write unit and integration tests; debug and troubleshoot issues.
- Deploy, monitor, and improve performance of backend services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering or related field.
- 0–2 years of backend development experience or relevant projects.
- Proficiency with Node.js and Express.js (or similar backend framework).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and authentication concepts.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases; NoSQL exposure a plus.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and basic API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
Good to Have
- Experience with Prisma or another ORM.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud deployment platforms.
- Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools.
