Backend Developer (Node.js, AWS, MongoDB) – Pune, India | Internship

Join the core tech team building an AI‑first platform that streamlines retail store operations. You’ll help create the backend services that power real‑time task management, audits, and AI‑driven merchandising insights – a chance to see your code drive measurable business impact from day one.

What You’ll Do
Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
Integrate MongoDB collections and optimise query performance.
Deploy and manage services on AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3).
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
Participate in code reviews and adopt best‑practice patterns.
Diagnose and resolve production incidents with senior engineers.
Document APIs and service architecture for cross‑team use.

What You Need
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js (1+ year).
Experience building RESTful APIs and working with MongoDB.
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment pipelines.
Solid grasp of OOP concepts and version control (Git).
Ability to write clean, testable code and debug effectively.
Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Good to Have
Exposure to microservices, API security, or event‑driven architectures.
Interest in AI/ML‑driven products and retail technology.
