What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain Node.js/NestJS services with TypeScript.
- Design and expose secure, high‑performance REST APIs.
- Integrate third‑party APIs, webhooks, and payment gateways.
- Create and optimise PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and RBAC mechanisms.
- Use Redis for caching and background job processing.
- Write production‑ready code, unit/integration tests, and API docs.
What You Need
- 3+ years of Node.js development, preferably with NestJS.
- Strong TypeScript proficiency.
- Deep experience with PostgreSQL and query optimisation.
- Building and securing RESTful APIs and handling webhooks.
- JWT‑based authentication, RBAC, and session management.
- Redis for caching and background tasks.
- Git workflow and automated testing.
Good to Have
- AWS cloud services and Docker containerisation.
- Experience with message queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS).
- CI/CD pipelines and microservices/event‑driven design.
