As a backend developer at jumpingMinds.ai, your responsibilities will include:
– Building backend services and APIs to establish scalable engineering systems
– Collaborating with the team to define, capture, and utilize real-time event data for business insights and product features
– Setting up infrastructure to participate in, validate, and improve the code deployment process in a distributed Service-Oriented Architecture
– Modifying existing and creating new data access and protection patterns to ensure the security of our community’s personal data at scale
To qualify for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
– B.S./B.Tech. in Computer Science with 1-2 years of work experience
– Hands-on experience in Backend development, particularly in Python & Django stack
– Previous experience in Backend or Full-Stack development in a professional or educational environment
– Proficiency in Python/Django, Golang, Ruby/Ruby on Rails
– Exposure to architectural patterns of large-scale web applications
– Strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of data structures
– Passion for building effective technology platforms
– Familiarity with Agile development practices
– Ability to handle ambiguous problems and proactively find solutions
– Commitment to creating high-quality products that impact business outcomes
– Data-driven approach to problem-solving
– Willingness to mentor other engineers and support their career development
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
