What You’ll Do
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for new applications.
- Oversee full lifecycle: design, code, test, deploy, and support.
- Analyze complex issues, apply design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Implement security controls and post‑implementation reviews for system integrity.
- Mentor junior analysts and act as SME for senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate with users, tech groups, and clients on advanced solutions.
What You Need
- 7+ years Java (v17+) development, data structures, design patterns.
- Microservices expertise with Spring Framework.
- Hands‑on Kafka or Solace messaging.
- Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift container orchestration.
- Bitbucket, Jira, and Gradle CI/CD tools.
- MongoDB or Couchbase document database experience.
- FIX protocol knowledge and multi‑threaded systems.
Good to Have
- Experience with Chronicle low‑latency framework.
- Knowledge of time‑series databases such as KDB.
- Background in equities trading order‑management systems.
