Data Architect – Chennai A senior data leader will shape the enterprise‑wide Business Intelligence and Digital Analytics strategy, partnering with business units and IT to turn data into actionable insights. This role offers the chance to influence a iconic Indian brand’s digital transformation while leading a cross‑functional data team. What You’ll Do Define strategic data architecture, modeling, governance, and quality frameworks. Design and roll out data pipelines, master‑data management, and platform roadmaps. Deliver enterprise BI and digital analytics solutions across business and IT functions. Translate business requirements into actionable data initiatives and daily service commitments. Oversee system availability, performance monitoring, and user support resolution. Coordinate with vendor partners and external service providers for solution delivery. Champion data‑driven decision‑making and enforce strong data governance. What You Need 10‑13 years of Business Intelligence application development and support. Hands‑on experience building data pipelines, cleansing data, and maintaining an enterprise data catalog. Proven work with large‑scale datasets, XML/JSON structures, and data warehousing. Strong program/project management from initiation to enterprise rollout. Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud big‑data services. Knowledge of SAP and the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack. Proficiency in data‑warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data‑visualisation tools. Good to Have Familiarity with Big Data ecosystems such as Hadoop or Spark. Experience with SAP BW or other enterprise data‑management platforms.
